Strong winds

This mornings lesson was again cancelled due to strong winds at 17knts gusting to 22knts, the wind is blowing directly accross the runway and therefore beyond the limitations of the Katana. Oh well, can't always get favourable weather. Next lesson is on Saturday.

Wx cancellations are the bane of many a student pilot, including myself.

Thankfully the weather here has been stellar for the last few months, with only a handfull of wx cancels, one of which was a solo that I cancelled myself. Last year I suffered so many cancellations that it was certainly very frustrating at times.

Otherwise, it's been good weather for flying. Not so good weather for my lawns, with my backyard starting to look like a field of low-cut straw instead of grass. :)
